About Lisa

Lisa Trattner, PT, CFST

Lisa Trattner is a licensed Physical Therapist and a certified Fascial Stretch Therapist with 25+ years of experience. She has worked with individuals at all fitness levels, from beginners to highly competitive athletes, and with all age groups. She is a former competitive and professional figure skater, as well as a marathon runner. Experiencing injuries in her own athletic career, along with her love of working with clients as an ice skating instructor, inspired Lisa to pursue studies in physical therapy.

After earning her degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in 1993, Lisa began her career at Beth Israel Medical Center where she was exposed to diverse patient populations. This experience provided her with a deep understanding of a wide range of diagnoses, including orthopedic, neurological, post-operative, cardiac rehab, work- and sports-related injuries, and chronic pain. Her interest in orthopedics and sports-related injuries ultimately led to her work in a variety of healthcare settings from private practice to health clubs to community centers. She has designed and taught many exercise classes, such as prenatal and postnatal fitness, kids yoga, and fitness for seniors with osteoporosis. Through continuing education courses, Lisa regularly develops her skills and stays current on the latest topics in her field.

Lisa has a love of movement and fitness. It is something that permeates her work with clients, helping them increase their flexibility and range of motion, decrease their pain, and improve their overall functionality and sense of well-being. It is what drives her passion to guide them through recovery toward their individual goals.

Outside of work, Lisa enjoys hiking, biking, and skiing with her husband and three daughters.
